We’ve Been Quiet… Here’s What We’ve Been Up To (And What’s Next!)

Hey family, friends, and fellow roamers!
If you’ve been wondering where we’ve been, you’re not alone and we owe you a real update.
The truth is, we hit pause on posting because I was deep in the world of books, research, deadlines, and Zoom calls. For the past few years, I’ve been working toward my doctorate in School Improvement, and today I’m so thrilled to share that I’ve officially completed it through the University of West Georgia. It was one of the biggest challenges of my life filled with long nights, revisions, data, cups of coffee, and a whole lot of grit.
Stepping away from the blog and TikTok wasn’t easy. We’ve always loved sharing our foodie finds, Black owned gems, travel memories, and silly moments from New Orleans to Savannah and beyond because exploring and celebrating community is in our DNA.
But life called for focus, and I answered.
Now, we’re back. Not rushed. Not overwhelmed. Just present and ready to share again.
Going forward, we are committing to monthly content. Genuine, fun, and meaningful stories that feel like us. Travel spots we love, Black owned businesses worth visiting, personal life moments, and maybe even some behind the scenes reflections from this doctorate journey.

Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for sticking with us. Whether you’re here for the food, the travel tips, or the laughs with Senior Editor aka Laws, we appreciate you.
Let’s keep roaming!
Love always,
The Roaming Henrys
